Designed for nonprofit leaders and supervisors, The Healing Bus brings together breathwork, mindfulness, and facilitated dialogue to support stress relief, prevent burnout, and cultivate compassionate leadership.
Leadership in nonprofit work carries a unique and often invisible weight. Supervisors and directors are not only managing programs and outcomes—they’re holding staff emotions, secondary trauma, and organizational pressure every day.Healing Leadership Circles are designed to care for the caretakers at the top, so support can flow more effectively throughout the organization.

Healing Leadership Circles are small-group, facilitated sessions (typically 8–12 participants) hosted by the Healing Bus at your site or at a dedicated Healing Bus location. This is not therapy—and it’s not a traditional leadership training. It’s a restorative, reflective space that leaders rarely get. Each circle blends three core elements:

Leadership Circles offer a space to slow down and come back into the body, using simple, restorative practices that support clarity, emotional resilience, and presence.

When leaders are dysregulated, the effects ripple through the entire organization. When leaders are grounded, present, and supported, teams feel safer, communication improves, and burnout decreases. This work strengthens leadership from the inside out.Rather than “checking the wellness box,” organizations are building a sustainable infrastructure for staff care.
Organizations invest in Healing Leadership Circles because they reduce leadership burnout and turnover, improve emotional intelligence and self-awareness, support healthier team dynamics and morale, and create more compassionate, responsive supervision.
When leadership embodies these practices, wellness becomes culturally embedded—not just encouraged. By supporting leadership wellness, organizations are investing upstream, where the impact is amplified across every department and every staff member.
